Recreation League Play
Tri-Boro
is a member of the Northern Valley Soccer League, placing teams in age groups
from 6 years to 16 years. Tri-Boro
teams play against teams from other local clubs, as well as other Tri-Boro
teams. U-7, U-8, and U-9 teams are
mixed, and there are all-girl teams for 9 year olds and up.
In
recreation league play, the emphasis is on learning the game of soccer and
having a good time. Playing time is
allocated equally among all players. No
win and loss standings are kept, and good sportsmanship is stressed.
