3. NOTE FROM THE PRESIDENT
To all Tri-Boro members and to those thinking of joining Tri-Boro, As many of you may be aware and for those of you who aren't, Tri-Boro has lost the use of the Steckle fields due to the WCSD installing a geothermal heating/cooling system for the school. I have been told that we will not be able to play on the fields for our spring season and upcoming fall season. THIS WILL IN NO WAY HAVE A NEGATIVE IMPACT ON THESE TWO SEASONS! We have worked extremely hard in securing alternative practice and game fields. Greg Mooney, Director of Recreation for Whitehall Township, has given us permission to use some of the land that the township owns. The Diocese of Allentown has also given us permission to use the field behind what used to be Christ The King school in the Stiles section of Whitehall. These will be practice fields only. Alan Beil, our Field Director has also secured a field by the Jordan Creek. The NAA has given us permission to use the Atlas Sports Complex this spring for games and practices. So for now, we should be okay. In fall we will get three fields back at Schadt Avenue. I will also be talking to Jeff Vivian, who is president of Schadt Avenue Association, about obtaining more space. If this has caused any confusion or problems, I apologize. I want to thank all of those individuals who were so instrumental in overcoming this problem. As always, Tri-Boro is dedicated to providing a safe and fun environment for our players to learn the great game of soccer.
